Terms of Service

Last updated September 25, 2026. These terms cover orders placed with The Truck Lettering Co., a DBA of IRO Innovations, a California corporation (2680 Pomona Blvd, Pomona, CA 91768). By placing an order you agree to them. Questions: hello@thetrucklettering.com.

What you're buying

Custom cut-vinyl lettering, printed magnetic signs and decals, made to the text, size, layout and colors you approve on the review screen. Sizes listed are the letter or sign dimensions; the on-screen truck previews are drawn to scale against a typical door of that vehicle type and are a guide, not a promise of exact placement on your particular vehicle. The print file is exact to the sizes shown.

Approval and corrections

When you pay, you're confirming that the name, numbers and spelling on the review screen are correct. We hold every order for about two hours before it goes to production. Reply to your confirmation email in that window and we'll fix a typo or swap a size at no charge. After that the order is in production and changes may not be possible.

We check USDOT numbers against the public FMCSA register and warn you if the name on file doesn't match. That check is a courtesy; the name and numbers you choose to print are your responsibility.

Remakes, returns and refunds

• Our mistake (wrong text or color versus what you approved, a production defect, damage in shipping): we remake it free or refund you, your choice. Send a photo within 14 days of delivery.
• Your mistake (a wrong number, a misspelling, the wrong size for your door): custom products can't be restocked, so we can't take them back, but we'll help you reorder at a discount. Email us.
• Cancellation: full refund if you cancel before the order goes to production (the two-hour window). After that we can't cancel.
• Refunds go back to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days of approval.

Turnaround and shipping

Production is typically 1 to 3 business days for vinyl and 2 to 3 for magnets, plus shipping. Standard shipping is included in the price. Rush shipping, where offered, moves your order to the fastest production and shipping options available; it is not a guaranteed delivery date. Orders with both vinyl and magnets ship as separate packages from separate facilities, each with its own tracking. Carrier delays, wrong addresses you enter, and weather are outside our control; if a package is lost by the carrier we'll replace it.

Compliance is on you (with our help)

Our guides summarize federal and state vehicle marking rules in plain English. They are general information, not legal advice, and rules change. You're responsible for confirming what your vehicle needs and for making sure the name and numbers you print match your registration and authority.

Logos, names and rights

You confirm you have the right to use any name, logo or mark you order. Uploaded logos are converted to a single-color cut file; fine detail may be simplified. We may photograph finished work and show it on our site and social accounts without identifying details unless you ask us not to, and we're always happy to credit you if you want. We keep your designs on file so you can reorder; you can ask us to delete them.

How's My Driving decals and report line

Each decal carries a unique code. Reports sent through our web form or phone line are forwarded to you by email and shown in your account. We don't verify reports, we don't guarantee that every call or message reaches you, and we may remove abusive or spam reports. The report line is a convenience for receiving public feedback, not a monitored safety service. If you choose to print your own phone number instead, calls go to you directly. Any monthly features we add will have their own pricing shown before you subscribe, and you can cancel anytime.

Accounts and text messages

Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for orders placed from your account. If you opt in to SMS at checkout, we send order updates by text. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

Prices and tax

Prices are in US dollars and can change without notice; the price at checkout is the one you pay. Sales tax is calculated at checkout from your shipping address. Volume pricing applies automatically at the quantities shown. Quotes for 25 or more sets are valid for 30 days.

The legal part

Our products are provided as described, and apart from the remake promise above we make no other warranties, including about fitness for a particular purpose or how long a product lasts on a specific surface. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it, and we're not liable for indirect losses such as fines, downtime or lost business. Nothing here limits rights you have under California law that can't be waived.

These terms are governed by California law. If we have a dispute, we'll both try to sort it out by email first; anything that can't be resolved that way will be handled in the state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California. If part of these terms isn't enforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms; the date at the top tells you when, and orders are covered by the terms in force when you place them.
